QUICK UPDATE SEPTEMBER
As always, the hunt goes on. And it often throws up stuff I had previously missed. So it’s time for another round up of updates.

Back at the beginning of this month I looked at these panels in The Pirate Planet, The Armageddon Factor and more. Well, I’ve found one I missed and it’s also from the key to time season.
.
THE POWER OF KROLL, 1978
THE ARMAGEDDON FACTOR, 1979
In the post about these panels I highlighted a large example from The Armageddon Factor. But also in this story is a smaller panel in the Marshall’s module. If you look at the top you can see the three rows of lights and the yellow squares that are common to this style of sci fi computer panel.

This next one is a prop I covered in my last update. It’s a small blue box from UFO. I’ve covered Gerry Anderson props to death and I really thought I’d found them all. But the other day I spotted the small blue box in The Time Warrior. It’s only seen from the side but it’s clearly the same prop.
THE TIME WARRIOR, 1973

In June I looked at vac formed, cupboard like, set dressings. You can see them on the left of this image from The Ambassadors of Death. It’s often seen with a row of circles just above the cupboards. I spent ages tracking down every time they had been used in Doctor Who. But naturally I missed one.
PLANET OF THE DALEKS, 1973
You can see the cupboards behind Jo. The circles have been cut off but have been used in the same set (seen below, top right).

One more, and it’s another from my last update. The computer terminal in this picture is from the first episode of Red Dwarf. At the time I said that, although it’s similar to other consoles in stories like Attack of the Cybermen and The Twin Dilemma, it had not been in Doctor Who. Well, of course, I was wrong. It can be seen below, lurking at the back of shot.
THE TWO DOCTORS, 1985
That’s it for this time guys. Back next week.
